Matcha DNA™ green tea is organically grown and hand-picked. It can be prepared as delicious tea, latte, martini or used in food like green tea ice cream and cooking.

Few people know that the current practice of drinking powdered tea in the Japanese tea ceremony is actually from the song dynasty in China. It dates back to over 1,000 years ago. This practice was carried on in Japan and is now considered a pillar of Japanese culture. Today high quality Matcha is once again being made in China.

The tea has a slightly different character than its Japanese counterpart. Both teas have a deep green color and thick, savory taste and texture. Both are high in EGCG and antioxidants. However, our Chinese MatchaDNA™ is smoother, without the bitterness, and has rich, smooth and fresh taste unlike any other.

Matcha DNA prides itself on being an amazing supplement to enhance health, energy, and wellbeing.

Superfood Tea

MatchDNA™ is ultra-high in antioxidants and contains a high level of EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate), a component of green tea with powerful antioxidant and neuroprotective activity.2

One glass of MatchaDNA™ may be the equivalent of 10 glasses of green tea in terms of its nutritional value and antioxidant content.

Green Tea Benefits

  • Reverse the appearance of aging of the skin
  • Enhance the body's ability for collagen repair
  • Maintain healthy weight and minimize abdominal fat
  • Increase elasticity and strength of blood vessels

Green Tea has numerous beneficial effects on the body. As compared to black tea, green tea contains a high level of catechins, a type of polyphenol, an antioxidant. The catechins in black tea are lost during processing.

Green tea supports a strong healthy immune system. T cells are critical for healthy immunity. EGCG has been shown to increase T cell activity in the spleen and lymph nodes.

Abdominal fat contributes to the risk of heart disease. The catechins in green tea can enhance exercise-induced abdominal fat loss, thereby helping minimize belly fat and protecting your heart while maintaining a healthy BMI.

EGCG also appears to help the body utilize fat, while simultaneously minimizing the absorption of fat. The combined effect serves to slow down weight gain.

The oxidation of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) is the first step of dangerous "vulnerable" plaque formation on blood vessel walls. GTE reduces LDL oxidation. According to a meta analysis, green tea can help maintain reduced LDL and total cholesterol levels.

In addition, high levels of iron in the blood, particularly in combination with elevated levels of LDL, promote the oxidation of LDL. Green tea extract reduces iron levels in the blood. It may also reduce fibrinogen, a protein in the blood that contributes to coagulation.

Scientists are studying how EGCG from green tea related to pancreas function. An initial mouse study indicates that the extract may help support glucose levels already within a normal range. The evidence is inconclusive and more research is needed in this area.

Each 10 ounce bulk pouch of MatchDNA™ tea contains approximately 113 servings of powdered green tea. One serving is 2.5 grams.

Each 3 ounce pouch of MatchDNA™ tea contains 34 individual serving packets of powdered green tea. Each serving is 2.5 grams.
